About Me

I'm Hamet, an energetic yoga teacher with a passion for helping people connect to their bodies, minds and spirits through yoga.

I am proficient in various styles of yoga, including Hatha, Vinyasa & Meditation and I am committed to creating a space of self-development and welcome for all.

I believe yoga is for everyone, regardless of age, fitness level or experience. My classes are designed to be accessible and inclusive, and I always encourage students to modify poses as needed. I'm also a strong advocate of mindfulness and breathwork, and believe these practices are essential for a healthy, balanced life.

I am a certified yoga instructor through Yoga Alliance, and completed 200 hours of Vinyasa Yoga teacher training 5 years ago.

I've also trained as a Tuina energy masseur for the past 4 years, and practice both in the office and at home.

In addition to teaching, I'm also a student of life, breath (pranayama) and curious by nature.

I believe that all these practices can help people connect with their inner wisdom and live a more fulfilling life.

The meeting

Yoga came to me when I was going through a difficult period in my life, as we all do. In 2019, after long months of depression, I opened up to this practice when I had nothing left to lose. My life was like a huge chaos where only working to provide for my family mattered. Fifty hours a week exhausting myself in a quest for perfectionism in response to a need for performance and unattainable goals is what led me to my own downfall.

Balance was unknown to my life. And yet it was balance I was looking for. Finding serenity and security in my daily life was what I deeply yearned for.

One yoga session and then another, building up to six a week, gradually enabled me to find my way back to myself.

This path of awakening consciousness, as I like to call it, is what I'm working towards today.

There isn't just one, but as many as there are human beings on this earth. Yoga isn't about postures, it's about aligning yourself within yourself, your mind, your breath and your body. I've learned this from life. Now it's my turn to share it through my classes. A moment of gentleness and self-reflection, but also of joy and laughter.

My practice

I have been practicing yoga for over 7 years, and teaching for 5 years. I have taught in various studios and retreats, and have worked with students of all ages and abilities.

I believe that yoga is a powerful tool for transformation. It can help us connect with our bodies and minds deeply and meaningfully. It can also help us reduce stress, improve flexibility and increase overall well-being.

I am honored to be able to share my love of yoga with others. I believe yoga can make a positive difference in people's lives, and I'm committed to helping people experience the benefits of this ancient practice.

I believe yoga is a journey, and I'm excited to help my students on their unique journeys

“ WHAT'S IMPORTANT TO ME IS TO BRING WELL-BEING AND SERENITY TO THOSE WHO CROSS MY PATH IN A SPIRIT OF KINDNESS."

My classes

Most of my vinyasa yoga classes begin with a moment of anchoring to arrive in your body. I guide you with my voice so you can get in touch with your breath, observe your mind and settle into the present moment.

Fascinated by the magic of the body and its healing power, I like to lead you towards the discovery and awareness of your movements with postures (asanas), mobility and breathing techniques.

I use fun and playful transitions to make the effort seem less difficult. Indeed, depending on the class, I can bring you into a meditative state, but vinyasa yoga remains a physical practice.

I'll also work with you to make your body more supple and your mind more aware, with a mix of meditation, pranayama (breath work) and, above all, a relaxed approach.

For me, yoga is a serious practice, but there's no need to take yourself too seriously.

I teach Vinyasa Yoga, Hiit Yoga, Restorative Yoga & Mindfulness Meditation. Available with yoga classes in the park.

Feel Good Workshop

Every quarter I offer a 1H30 workshop.

Feel good is a sharing workshop where I'll be the guide and you'll be the actress/actor of what's going on inside you.

A moment of well-being where you can confidently let go of what you're feeling. It goes without saying that everyone will respect the confidentiality of this moment of sharing.

So that everyone can feel happy. Listening from the heart and opening up from soul to soul. And we let the energy of the group take us on a journey. It's also a time to choose to connect with others!

LIMITED PLACES

To find out a little more about you, I'll let you do your yogi portrait (style of practice, your experience, what makes you tick when you practice). I'd also like to know what brings you to this workshop.
